My love for languages and travelling began at the age of four, thanks to a solo plane flight and a Chinese doll that imprinted me.
I started studying foreign languages as a child and have never stopped studying and evolving my knowledge, adding skills upon skills and working initially as a linguistic-cultural mediator, interpreter at trade fairs and events and teacher of Italian language for foreigners.
After graduating in Oriental Languages and Literature (Mandarin Chinese), I worked in the role of International Buyer for many years and for various international companies and in various sectors (Import-Export general Merchandise, Textiles, Metalmechanics, Chemicals, Stones), travelling a lot at first and living abroad as an expatriate later (PRC).

Becoming a mother and the advent of Covid, pushed me to invest in my passion for foreign languages and to start working as a freelance translator.
My interest in movies in the original language then brought me closer to the topics of audiovisual translation, subtitling and dialogue adaptation for dubbing, topics that I am still delving into.

Language combinations vary, I mainly translate from English, French and Spanish, but I also work, marginally, with Chinese.

My professional life is constantly evolving, as is my training.

Previous work and life experiences abroad have shaped me both in terms of knowledge and mentality, giving me a broader outlook and a valuable store of technical terms.
